The gravestones of both William and Zenith are broken. They are in
the Jerusalem Cemetery, Pickens County, Georgia. Zenith's stone
seems to have misspelled her name. The legend reads "Zensith [sic]
Forrester Age 80 years." Resolution of the photo is not sharp
enough to read dates on the standing part.
William's stone is also partly unreadable in the photo. The
readable parts of the legend there read:
"Husband of Z E Forrester W M Forrester Died Feb 5, 1894." This
seems to provide Zenith's middle initial, which I have not seen
elsewhere. Her daughter Thalia had a daughter name Zenith Elvira
Mullins. Perhaps Elvira was Zenith Barnes Forrester's middle name.

In 1860 Mandy is the youngest in the household. I have found some
genealogies lack this child, perhaps combining her with Susan, whom
they name Susan Amanda. Both Susan and Amanda appear under those
names in the 1870 enumeration for this family. IN 1880 Susan A is
still in the household, but Many/Amanda is gone, probably married
and in her own household.

The overall picture of the Barnett family found in Illinois in 1860
matches the characteristics of Clarinda Barnett who married Jackson
Green in Indian Territory. One discrepancy occurs, which is similar
to common errors in censuses. The birth state of Clarinda in the
1860 census with the Barnett family reports her birth state to be
Tennessee. In later censuses information for her sons Taylor (James
Taylor) and Joe (Toliver Jorile) report the birth state of their
mother Clarinda as Illinois.
In 1910 Taylor's mother's birth state is reported as Unknown
In 1920 it is Illinois
In 1910 Joe's mother (should be the same as Taylor's) is reported as
born in Alabama.
In 1920 it is Illinois.
From the 1860 Illinois census, we know the family had Illinois
connections and one group of children of the name Gibson are with
the Barnett family in that census. So there is an Illinois
connection. This seems then a minor discrepancy, one that by now we
expect to find in census entries. We must keep in mind that in that
era objective details and a focus on information were not a part of
the culture as it became in the course of the 20th century. We are
detail oriented now. We like closure on every possible item of
information. That was just not the way they lived back then.
Clarinda the daughter of Jorile (Jorial) was reported in the 1860
census as born in Tennessee. But Jorile had moved to Illinois
between 1852 and 1857, when he married Sarah Morgan Gibson, a widow
living in Washington County, Illinois. We find their blended family
in the 1860 census, where all the Gibson children are reported born
in Illinois, while the older Barnett children were born in North
Carolina and Clarinda and her sister Susan were born in Tennessee.
It is easy to see from this information why Clarinda's birth state
might have been reported as Illinois in the later censuses.
Stranger discrepancies have certainly been sprinkled all through the
US census records. Her children remembered that she had come from
Illinois, and that would be reinforced by the fact that her
stepmother Sarah was born in Illinois. But sometimes they
remembered a family past farther back, even though Joe got it wrong
in 1910 by saying it was Alabama instead of Tennessee.

Nora's name appears with many different spellings in public documents
and family sources. We find Nora, Norah, Elnora, Elnorah, Ellnorah,
and maybe some other variations.
Norah was likely born in Stonewall County, Texas. Barnett
researcher Barbara Stevens reports on records showing her father
Francis Marion moved from Hill to Stonewall County in the 1880s.
This also tells us that her mother did not die until after 1891. I
have not yet found an entry in the 1900 census for Norah and her
father Francis Marion Barnett. The 1910 census there tells us that
Francis was a widow and that Nora (Elnora Ethyl) was 19, meaning she
was born about 1891. The reported age of 29 in the 1920 census is
consistent with this.

By 1920, Norah has married but is still living in her father's
household with her older unmarried sister Mollie Priscilla. We also
find that in this census, her father is reported as an invalid and
no longer as a Farmer. Since their first child is only 1 month old,
Nora and her husband Robert Hudson have probably been married less
than one year.

Next door to this mixed family in 1920 is what appears to be
Robert's father and his second wife. The ages would fit for
24-year-old Robert to be the oldest child of Bill L Hudson. The
next child in Bill's household is 13-year-old Bill E. Of course,
there may be other children already married and not living nearby.

From the ages of Bill and his presumed son Robert in the house next
door, Lara is Bill's second wife. This pattern of relationships
seems confirmed when we find a 3-year old child, Olif (Olaf?) A as
the next child after 9-year-old Sadie M, who followed 13-year-old
Bill E.
In 1930, we find that Robert and Nora have moved to Cochise County,
Arizona, near Douglas, where Robert and all the neighbors on this
census page are working at a lime quarry. Since their son Lamont
was born in 1930, they moved to Arizona in late 1922 or later.
